UPDATES FOR THE SPRING / SUMMER  2012 SALE IN HIGH POINT:

1.  REMINDER:  Consignors may not invite guests to the private consignor sale (Thursday, February 9, 5:30 - 9:30 pm).

2.  Follow WeeRuns on Facebook!  You will receive notices about special discounts and other value-added benefits ONLY available to our Facebook friends.  If you need assistance, please contact us.

3.  REMINDER:  All consignors and volunteers will receive passes into the Clearance Event (Sunday, February 19, 6:00 - 9:30 pm).  Passes are not transferable and identification will be checked at the door.  For the general public, there will be a $5 cash admission charge per person.  No one under the age of eighteen will be admitted.

4.  Please bring a laundry basket or shopping bag, as WeeRuns only will provide bags upon request.  Please help support our "green" efforts.

5.  REMINDER:  Once again, we will need to mail checks following the sale, as we must vacate the space quickly following the conclusion of the sale.  For this reason, please bring a self-addressed, stamped #10 business envelope to your drop-off appointment.  (Your report and check will not fit into a small envelope).  WeeRuns will provide an envelope and postage for consignors who forget.  An additional $1.00 fee will be deducted from the consignor's check mailed following the conclusion of the sale.

6.  REMINDER:  At item drop-off, consignors will indicate their intention regarding unsold items at the sale's conclusion. WeeRuns welcomes the opportunity to sort consignors' unsold items; however, WeeRuns cannot provide volunteers to sort items that will not be retrieved. For this reason, please understand that we will note consignors who fail to return to collect their unsold items when they have committed to do so.

If a consignor instructs WeeRuns to sort items for pick-up and fails to collect those items, the consignor will have two choices in order to participate in the following sale. First, the consignor may choose to work a breakdown shift at the sale's conclusion (and receive a pass to the Volunteer Sale) or the consignor may choose to donate all items which remain unsold at the sale's conclusion. The new policy is an effort to both respect the valuable time of our volunteers while also allowing consignors the opportunity to understand the effort which goes into the preparation of their items for collection.

7.  At Item Pick-Up, we must have your permission before we will release your items to someone else.  This may be accomplished in three ways:  you may provide a written note, you may email us in advance, or you may call and leave us a message.  You must indicate who has permission to collect your items and you must provide your consignor number.  WE WILL NOT RELEASE YOUR ITEMS TO ANOTHER PARTY WITHOUT PROPER PERMISSION.  We kindly request that you do so 24 hours before pick-up day.  Emails and phone calls during pick-up hours are difficult to handle properly for you.

8.  If you have items returning to our sale which have been previously barcoded, we STRONGLY suggest making out new cards.  Savvy shoppers recognize cards which have been through multiple sales with no price reductions.

9.  The CPSC mandated new federal crib standards effective June 2011.  WeeRuns can no longer accept drop-sided cribs for consignment.

10.  VIP's who do not complete their shopping on Tuesday night, February 7 will be given a special re-entry pass for the following night.  Volunteers who do not complete their shopping on Wednesday night, February 8 will be given a special re-entry pass for the following night.  Consignors and volunteers who do not complete their shopping on Thursday night, February 9 will be given a special re-entry pass for the following night.  These passes are non-transferable, and a photo ID is required for admittance.
